The scheme "C H Muhammedkoya Scholarship" by the Minority Affairs Department, Government of Kerala, aims to provide financial assistance to girl students from Muslim, Latin, and Converted Christian communities who are natives of Kerala. Benefits

- Undergraduate: ₹4,000/- per annum (for 3,000 students).- Post Graduates: ₹5,000/- per annum (for 1,000 students).- Professional Courses: ₹6,000/- per annum (for 1,000 students).- Hostel Stipend: ₹12,000/- per annum (for 2,000 students)

Eligibility
- The applicant should belong to the Muslim, Latin, or Converted Christian community.
- The applicant should be a native of Kerala.
- The applicant should be a girl student.
- The applicant should be studying for the first year of Graduation or Higher courses in a Government/Aided Institution.
- The applicant should have gained admission to self-financing colleges from the merit seat.
- The applicant should have scored 50% or above in the qualifying examination.
- The applicant's family annual income should not exceed ₹4,50,000/-.
- The applicant applying for Hostel stipend should be staying in recognized hostels.
Exclusions
Those eligible for Hostel stipend will not be eligible for the scholarship (i.e., the course-related monetary benefit).
Application Process
Online
Step 1: Visit the official website of the Directorate of Minority Welfare.
Step 2: Locate and click on the "Scholarship".
Step 3: Navigate to the "Scholarship" menu link and click on "C H Muhammedkoya Scholarship".
Step 4: Click on "Apply Online".
Step 5: For new scholarship applicants, first complete one-time registration and log in with your candidate details.
Step 6: In the Registration Form, carefully enter the details step-by-step under Examination details (register number/roll number), Personal details, and Scholarship details tabs.
Step 7: In the Upload details tab, upload the required documents (Photo, Signature, SSLC Certificate, Income Certificate, Ration Card Copy, Allotment Memo) in JPEG format under 100 KB size each.
Step 8: Only after uploading all required documents, the registration process will be considered complete.
Step 9: After completing the application submission, use the View/Print Application link to take a printout of the application form.
Submission of Application Printout
- After submitting the scholarship application (either through new registration or login), click on "View/Print Application" to get a printout of your registration form.
- Submit the printout of the registration form along with all the required supporting documents to the head of the institution where you are studying, within the specified deadline.
