The Bee-Keeping scheme aims to promote bee-keeping through the provision of high-quality bee colonies produced by bee breeders. A subsidy of 40% of the cost is provided for each colony and bee box, with a maximum limit of 50 colonies and 50 boxes per beneficiary. The cost for each colony is ₹2000 and for each bee box is also ₹2000. The scheme prioritizes small, marginal, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, women farmers, and those who have received bee-keeping training.

Beneficiaries must ensure the availability of high-quality bee colonies by December and obtain a migration certificate from the local horticulture department before migration.
