The "Awarding Teleeducation Scholarships To Afghan Students" scheme under e-VidyaBharati Network Project, launched by the Ministry of External Affairs in October 2019, aims to provide 1000 scholarships annually to Afghan students for pursuing various UGC-approved online Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs from Indian universities. Tenure of scholarship:
It should be the endeavor of each student to complete the UG, PG, programmes within prescribed time period of 3 years, 2 years, respectively. However, any relaxation will be strictly as per UGC guidelines.

- The passed students are awarded Degree online and physical copies of degrees/certificates are also sent to Indian Mission in Kabul, and students need to collect from Indian Mission in Kabul

Eligibility
- The applicant must be a national of Afghanistan.
- The applicant must possess a valid Afghan National ID or Passport.
- The applicant must be between 18 to 35 years of age as on July 1 of the academic year.
- The applicant must meet the minimum academic qualifications required by the respective Indian university for the chosen program.
- The applicant must ensure proficiency in English to understand and complete the program, as the medium of instruction is English.
- The applicant must apply only for one program under the e-VB project.
- The applicant must not be enrolled in any other ongoing program under the e-VB project.

- Applicants must check the eligibility criteria/pre-requisites for admission to a particular programme/course on the respective university portal and then apply.
- Students who have already obtained a degree under e-VB project (at the time of announcement of the new academic session) and willing to avail scholarship under e-VB project for pursuing another degree, may also apply afresh through iLearn portal to process their application

Step 1: Upon Login, students can explore programs based on degree type and category by clicking on “Explore Programmes”.
Step 2: Click on Browse more to get the More filters like- Course Duration, Course Exam Date, Course Term and Partner Institutions.
Submission of Enrolment form at University/HEI Portal:
Step 1: Click on the course to select the particular university and the particular course where the page will be directed to the respective university's Signup/ Registration page.
Step 2: Click on “Click here for new Registration” to sign up. Enter the email ID and captcha and click on “Verify”
Step 3: Once verified click on Sign In and enter the below details and click on “Login”.
Step 4: Once Login Student will be redirected into University Application forms.
Step 5: Fill in all the tabs with required details and clock on submit to complete the enrollment form submission.
ICCR e-VB Alumni:
- Student should fill up the Alumni Form available on iLearn portal ICCR as well as on India Alumni portal after completing the course and before award of final degree. This will help alumni of e-VB to be in touch for future eVB activities and will also be helpful in future for Indian Missions/Posts abroad. to remain engaged with the Alumni.
