Assistance to Women for Trainer and Coaches Training Course

The scheme “Assistance to Women for Trainer and Coaches Training Course” by the Sports, Youth and Cultural Activities Department, Government of Gujarat aims to promote and enhance the participation of women in sports through structured academic training by supporting them financially for pursuing diploma courses in sports. It seeks to enable women to take up professional training to become certified coaches and trainers, thereby boosting employment opportunities and representation in the sports sector. The scheme is implemented by the Sports Authority of Gujarat.

• Financial Assistance: Eligible female candidates receive financial support to enroll in recognized diploma courses in sports to become trainers or coaches.

1. The applicant should be a resident of Gujarat.
2. The applicant should be a female.
3. The applicant should be a student.
4. The applicant should be pursuing a diploma course in sports from a recognized university or institution such as the Sports Authority of India.

Step 1: The interested applicant should download the prescribed format of the application form.
Step 2: In the application form, provide all the mandatory details, and attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attested, if required).
Step 3: Submit the duly filled and signed application form along with the supporting documents to the below address of the Sports Authority of Gujarat.
Step 4: Request a receipt or acknowledgement from the concerned authority to whom the application has been submitted.
