The Assistance to Farmers for Mini Tractor and Power tiller in Farm Mechanization Program provides financial assistance to farmers for the purchase of mini tractors and power tillers. For mini tractors up to 20 HP and power tillers above 8 BHP, general farmers can receive 40% of the cost or Rs. 45,000 per unit, while SC and ST farmers can receive 50% of the cost or Rs. 60,000 per unit, whichever is less. For power tillers below 8 BHP, general farmers can receive 40% of the cost or Rs. 40,000 per unit, while SC and ST farmers can receive 50% of the cost or Rs. 50,000 per unit, whichever is less.
