This scheme provides assistance in the form of compensation in the event of normal death or accidental death/injury of construction workers. The benefits of this scheme can be availed by all construction workers holding a beneficiary identification card or designated individuals or dependents, provided that the beneficiary's contribution is regularly deposited. Applications for assistance in case of injury due to an accident can be submitted within a maximum of 6 months from the date of the accident or the date of discharge from the hospital. In the case of the beneficiary's death, applications for assistance will be accepted within a maximum period of one year from the date of death.
