Details

The Assistance for Protected Cultivation scheme provides financial support for various horticultural activities. It includes assistance for plastic cover (mulching) at a unit cost of Rs. 32,000 per hectare, and Rs. 36,800 per hectare in hilly areas, covering 50% of the incurred expenditure, limited to 1 hectare per beneficiary. The Self-Employment Oriented Horticulture Nursery Development Program offers a unit cost of Rs. 3,50,000 for nursery structures, Rs. 3,00,000 for a 500 sq.m area, and Rs. 50,000 for a starter kit. Farmers can receive assistance up to 65% of the cost or a maximum of Rs. 2,27,500, whichever is lower. Support is also available for Shed Net houses and Poly houses ranging from 500 sq.m to 4000 sq.m, based on fixed square meter prices as per the empanelment price of companies for various structures. Additionally, for Plug Nurseries, assistance of Rs. 30.00 lakhs per hectare is available in the public sector, while in the private sector, 50% of the cost or a maximum of Rs. 15.00 lakhs per hectare can be availed.
