Details

The scheme provides assistance for the establishment of on-farm storage facilities aimed at sorting and grading horticultural crops. This initiative is designed to create infrastructure that prevents post-harvest spoilage. Financial assistance of up to Rs. 3.00 lakh per unit is available for construction, with a maximum of 50% of the cost or Rs. 1.50 lakh, whichever is lower. Additionally, for machinery and equipment necessary for grading, sorting, weighing, packing, washing, primary value addition, and storage, assistance of up to Rs. 1.00 lakh is available, again capped at 50% of the cost or Rs. 0.50 lakh, whichever is less.
