Antyeshthi Sahay Yojana

The "Antyeshthi Sahay Yojana" is a welfare scheme and has been launched by the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of Gujarat. The scheme aims to support the families of deceased senior citizens who were beneficiaries of old-age assistance. Upon the death of such a senior citizen, a one-time financial aid is provided to the legal heir to help cover funeral and related expenses.

A one-time financial assistance of ₹5,000/- is provided to the heirs of a senior citizen who was receiving old-age assistance at the time of their death. This assistance is intended to help with funeral expenses.

1. The applicant must be a resident of Gujarat.
2. The applicant must be the heir of a deceased senior citizen.
3. The deceased must have been a beneficiary of old-age assistance.

Step 1: The interested applicant should visit the Mamlatdar office and request a hard copy of the prescribed format of the application form.
Step 2: In the application form, provide all the mandatory details, and attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attested, if required).
Step 3: Submit the duly filled and signed application form along with the supporting documents to the Mamlatdar office.
Step 4: Request a receipt or acknowledgement from the concerned authority to whom the application has been submitted.
