As per the Hon'ble Chief Minister's budget announcements for the fiscal year 2022-23 and the Rajasthan Government's direction to minimize the pendency of Agriculture Connections, Jodhpur Discom intends to execute the work on Tubewell (TW) and Community Lift Irrigation (CLRC) basis. There are 90,137 agriculture connection applications from various categories including General, Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Drip category. The plan is to propose the release of 50% of connections on Tubewell basis and 50% on Community Lift Irrigation basis. The Agriculture policy prioritizes the release of connections either on Tubewell or Community Lift Irrigation basis.
