Eligibility

  1. The applicant must be a resident of Uttarakhand.
  2. The applicant (child) must be 6 years old to get admission in Class 1.
  3. The applicant (student) must be currently registered in Anganwadi Bal Vatika to be eligible for admission to Class 1.

Application Process

Offline

  • Admission to Class 1 in government and private schools begins every year in April.
  • For the admission process, any one of the following documents can be submitted as proof of the student’s age: the child’s hospital/ANM record, Anganwadi record, village/family register, or a declaration by the guardian/parents regarding the child’s age.
  • In case the student is transferring from another school, the school leaving/transfer certificate (TC) from the previous school is mandatory.
