Eligibility
- The applicant must be a resident of Uttarakhand.
- The applicant (child) must be 6 years old to get admission in Class 1.
- The applicant (student) must be currently registered in Anganwadi Bal Vatika to be eligible for admission to Class 1.
Application Process
Offline
- Admission to Class 1 in government and private schools begins every year in April.
- For the admission process, any one of the following documents can be submitted as proof of the student’s age: the child’s hospital/ANM record, Anganwadi record, village/family register, or a declaration by the guardian/parents regarding the child’s age.
- In case the student is transferring from another school, the school leaving/transfer certificate (TC) from the previous school is mandatory.
