Details

The Accredited & Non-Accredited Journalist Medical Diary Facility Scheme was notified on May 27, 2005, providing a medical diary facility for accredited journalists at a cost of ₹1500 per year. This amount was increased to ₹2000 per year on February 8, 2007, and further raised to ₹2500 per year on May 9, 2008. As of July 18, 2017, the amount was set at ₹5000 per year. As per the revised notification dated December 24, 2020, this facility is now also available to salaried non-accredited journalists in addition to accredited journalists.
