Details

Encouraging results observed in the initial phase of natural farming methods have led many farmers in the state to adopt this approach. This method relies on essential components like Jivamrut, Ghanjivamrut, Beejamrut, and other preparatory and protective practices, which require indigenous cows as a fundamental element. However, many farmers are unable to follow the natural farming methodology effectively due to the lack of indigenous cows or their inability to maintain them for various reasons. Therefore, to support natural farming, a scheme has been implemented wherein gaushalas (cow shelters), panjrapoles (animal shelters), cooperative institutions, self-help groups, and farmer groups produce and distribute the required Jivamrut, Ghanjivamrut, Beejamrut, and other protective preparations to farmers.
