The 103 / 20 VAT Subsidy scheme provides financial assistance to fishermen who hold a state diesel card and operate mechanized fishing boats that are less than 20 meters in length. The scheme aims to support the fishing community by offering a subsidy on the Value Added Tax (VAT) for diesel purchased for fishing purposes.

  • Annual maximum trip-wise and quota of diesel available is fixed based on the horse power of the boat engine

Eligibility

Fishermen holding a state diesel card and operating mechanized fishing boats less than 20 meters in length are eligible to apply for this scheme.

Application Process

  1. Visit the online application portal: Fisheries Gujarat
  2. Ensure that the diesel VAT software is connected to all government-approved diesel pumps.
  3. Purchase diesel from these pumps, and the details will be automatically uploaded to the software.
  4. Required documents include Aadhar Card, Bank Pass Book/Cancelled Cheque, Copy of license, and Passport Size Photos.
