Overview

The Department of Power is inviting bids for the outsourcing of work related to the installation of two additional power transformers (12.5 MVA and 20 MVA) at 66 KV substations in Guara and Chananwal, respectively. This project is to be executed on a partial turnkey basis under the Grid Construction Division (GCD) in Patiala. The tender is categorized as an open tender, and the contract will be awarded through a tender cum auction process.

Scope / Work

The scope of work includes:

• Installation of 1 no Additional 12.5 MVA Power Transformer at 66 KV S/S Guara.
• Installation of 1 no Additional 20 MVA Power Transformer at 66 KV S/S Chananwal.
• Complete bay equipment installation as detailed in Annex B.
  The work is expected to be completed within 60 days from the commencement date. Bidders should refer to the tender documents for detailed pre-qualification requirements.

Fees & EMD

• Tender Fee: ₹1,180 (non-exemptible).
• EMD (Earnest Money Deposit): ₹52,860 (exemption allowed).
  Both fees must be submitted online. The EMD is fixed and does not depend on the bid amount.
