The scheme "Trekking in Forest Area (Scheduled Tribes)" by the Sports, Youth and Cultural Activities Department, Government of Gujarat, aims to instill a deep love for nature, pristine landscapes, wild animals and birds, trees, mountains, springs, and ravines among the Scheduled Tribes youth of the state by directly engaging them in a forest trekking experience. Under this initiative, a forest area rotation program is conducted for 100 selected young men and women, giving them immersive exposure to natural surroundings and biodiversity.

Eligibility
- The applicant must be a resident of Gujarat.
- The applicant should belong to the Scheduled Tribes (ST) category.
- The applicant should be between 15 and 35 years of age.

Offline
Step 1: The interested applicant should download the prescribed format of the application form.
Step 2: In the application form, provide all the mandatory details, and attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attested, if required).
Step 3: Submit the duly filled and signed application form along with the supporting documents to the office of the District Youth Development Officer.
Step 4: Request a receipt or acknowledgement from the concerned authority to whom the application has been submitted.
