Tanariri Music Awards Festival and Awards (National Level)

The scheme "Tanariri Music Awards Festival and Awards (National Level)" by the Sports, Youth and Cultural Activities Department, Government of Gujarat, aims to commemorate the legacy of legendary musical artistes Beldi Tana and Riri and promote the cultural heritage of Indian classical music by honoring two exceptional female artistes from across the country. These artists are felicitated at a prestigious national-level award ceremony held at Vadnagar, Gujarat, with a cash prize of ₹5,00,000, a shawl, and a certificate each.

• Cash Prize: Each of the two selected female artists is awarded a cash prize of ₹5,00,000/-.- Other Benefit: In addition to the monetary award, recipients receive a shawl and a certificate recognizing their contribution.

• The applicant must be a resident of India.
• The applicant must be a female artiste in the field of Indian classical music.
• The applicant must have made notable contributions to classical music and demonstrated a distinguished record of achievement.

Offline

Step 1: The interested applicant should download the prescribed format of the application form.
Step 2: In the application form, provide all the mandatory details, and attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attested, if required).
Step 3: Submit the duly filled and signed application form along with the supporting documents to the Sangeet Natak Academy.
Step 4: Request a receipt or acknowledgement from the concerned authority to whom the application has been submitted.
