The scheme "Scheduled Caste Sub Plan (SCSP): Electrification of Wells of Scheduled Caste Farmers" was launched by the Energy and Petrochemicals Department, Government of Gujarat, with financial allocation starting from the year 2016-17, to provide agricultural electricity connection to Scheduled Caste farmers on a priority basis. The scheme provides electrification of agriculture wells of Scheduled Caste Farmers. Free domestic electricity connections are also provided to Scheduled Caste beneficiaries. The applicant must be a Scheduled Caste farmer. The applications for this scheme are accepted at the Subdivisional Office or via the All Discom Website.

Offline
Step 1: The application form required for this scheme can be obtained free of cost from the Discom Website. Alternatively, applicants may collect physical forms from their nearest Subdivisional Office.
Step 2: Once the form is fully filled and all required documents are attached, the complete application must be submitted to the Subdivisional Office.
Step 3: The applicants are mandated to pay the Registration Charge, Security Deposit, Agreement Fee, and Test report fee for the agricultural connection application.
*The capital costs associated with High Tension (HT) lines, Low Tension (LT) lines, and Transformer centers are waived for applicants under this scheme.
