Details

The Rajasthan Chief Minister's Relief Fund provides assistance to victims of accidents, natural disasters, and other emergencies. Under the guidelines of the fund, district collectors are provided with a revolving fund of ₹20 lakh each to facilitate aid. In the event of death due to an accident occurring on or after February 18, 2019, the dependents of the deceased are entitled to ₹1 lakh. For serious injuries, assistance of up to ₹20,000 is available, while for minor injuries, aid is granted based on the severity of the injury. If the family is financially capable, assistance may not be provided. Applications for assistance must be submitted within six months of the accident date. In cases where a seriously injured person dies while undergoing treatment, applications can be submitted within six months from the date of death. Applications can be made at the Tehsil/District Collector's office or the Chief Minister's office with the required documents.

  1. Injured in an accident
  2. Deceased due to natural disaster or accident

Exclusions

Assistance is not provided for property loss due to fire or other reasons. Cases of suicide are not eligible for assistance. In cases of murder and rape, assistance is provided under the Rajasthan Victim Compensation Scheme, 2015. If assistance is available from other state government schemes, aid from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund will not be provided.

  • Copy of the medical report of the injured (mandatory)
  • Copy of the post-mortem report in case of death (mandatory) or a satisfaction certificate from the investigating officer if the body is mutilated (mandatory)
  • Copy of the FIR report (mandatory)
  • Copy of the ration card
  • Copy of the Aadhaar card
  • Copy of the first page of the bank passbook or cancelled cheque or photocopy.
