Details

The Minority Pre-Matric Scholarship is designed for students belonging to minority communities who are studying in recognized schools or madrasas from Class 1 to 10. Eligible students must have an annual family income of no more than ₹1 lakh and should not be receiving any other scholarships or financial assistance from central or state government sources. Additionally, students must have scored at least 50% marks or equivalent grades in the previous academic year. A maximum of two students from the same family can receive this scholarship.

  • Tuition fee: ₹350per month (for classes 6-10)
  • Maintenance allowance: ₹100per month (for classes 1-10) for day scholars

Eligibility

Students must belong to minority communities and be enrolled as regular students in schools run by the central government, state government, or municipalities, or in schools/madrasas recognized by the education department. The annual income of the student's parents or guardian should not exceed ₹1 lakh. Students should not be receiving any other scholarships or financial assistance from central or state government sources. They must have obtained at least 50% marks or equivalent grades in the previous academic year. Only two students from the same family can receive this scholarship.

Exclusions

Students receiving any other scholarships or financial assistance from central or state government sources are not eligible.

Application Process

Online

Applications must be submitted online by the student or guardian through the National Scholarship Portal. After submitting the application online, a printed copy along with required documents must be submitted to the respective school where the student is enrolled.

  • Education Qualification Marksheet/Certificate Copy
  • Jan Aadhar/Bhamashah Card Copy
  • Domicile Certificate Copy
