The Maternity Assistance scheme aims to provide financial support during pregnancy to construction workers and their wives who are registered with the Gujarat Building and Other Construction Labour Welfare Board. This initiative seeks to enhance social stability for construction workers.

Benefits

  • - Women construction workers registered under this scheme will receive Rs. 5,000 for maternity assistance and Rs. 2,500 for nutritional food, totaling Rs. 7,500
  • Additionally, they will receive Rs. 30,000 (Rs. 5,000 per month for 6 months: 3 months before delivery and 3 months after delivery)
  • Wives of registered construction workers will receive Rs. 6,000 as assistance
  • Women construction workers registered under this scheme will receive Rs. 5,000 for maternity assistance and Rs. 2,500 for nutritional food, totaling Rs. 7,500.
  • Additionally, they will receive Rs. 30,000 (Rs. 5,000 per month for 6 months: 3 months before delivery and 3 months after delivery).
  • Wives of registered construction workers will receive Rs. 6,000 as assistance.
