Eligibility

  1. The bride's mother must belong to a Scheduled Caste community.
  2. Financial help is available for the marriage of up to two daughters in a family.
  3. The bride must be at least 18 years old on the date of marriage.
  4. This assistance is only for the first marriage of each daughter.
  5. Your family's monthly income cannot be more than ₹2,000/-. (Verified by the Tehsildar).
  6. Applicant must have lived in Chandigarh for at least 3 years.
  7. If both the bride's parents are deceased, her legal guardian can apply for this help.
