The scheme "Empowering Schedule Tribe/Schedule Caste Communities Using Information And Communication Technology Tools" by the Department of Information Technology, Government of Goa, aims to provide Information Technology related trainings to the Schedule Tribe/Schedule Caste communities free of cost. The scheme provides various job oriented Information Technology training courses. The key features and provisions offered include providing basic computer skills to local youth, housewives, and other citizens, providing structural training programs depending on needs, and making at least one person in each family in the State Information Technology literate.

Eligibility
- The applicant must be of Goan Origin.
- The applicant must belong to the Schedule Tribe/Schedule Caste Community.
- The applicant must apply for courses offered under the Information Technology Knowledge Centers and available at the Information Technology training centers empanelled by M/s Info Tech Corporation of Goa Limited (ITG).
Exclusions
The applicant will not be allowed to avail the benefit for the same course in multiple Information Technology Knowledge Centers (ITKCs).
Application Process

Step 1: The interested applicant should take a printout of the prescribed format of the application form.
Step 2: In the application form, fill in all the mandatory fields, paste the passport-sized photograph (signed across, if required), and attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attest, if required).

The application forms, along with the required supporting documents, are to be submitted at the empanelled Information Technology Knowledge Centers (ITKCs) through which the applicant wishes to avail the courses.
