Adivasi farmers in Gujarat can significantly improve their crop production and livelihoods through this scheme, which offers subsidies on seeds, fertilizers, and tarpaulins. Eligible Scheduled Tribe farmers in tribal areas or those residing outside these areas, excluding Dang district, can receive financial assistance covering 75% of the purchase price of tarpaulins, with a maximum of two tarpaulins claimable every three years.

The scheme "Distribution of Seeds of more productive varieties / Hybrid varieties Seeds and fertilizer at subsidies etc. to Adivasi farmers in Tribal Area (TASP)" with a component "Tarpaulin" is introduced by the Agriculture, Farmers Welfare and Co-operation Department, Government of Gujarat, aims to provide subsidized agricultural inputs and tools to Scheduled Tribe farmers for enhancing agricultural production. Through this scheme, the purchase price of tarpaulin assistance provided to tribal cultivators is used to improve productivity and livelihood.
Benefits
- 1. The assistance covers 75% of the purchase price of the tarpaulin or ₹1 875/-
- whichever amount is less. Conditions: A maximum of two tarpaulins can be claimed per account. Frequency of Disbursement: The benefit can be reclaimed once every 3 years. Remark: As per conditions No. 5 16 17 19 and 22 of Appendix-1. (Refer Scheme No. 35)
- The assistance covers 75% of the purchase price of the tarpaulin or ₹1,875/-, whichever amount is less.
Conditions: A maximum of two tarpaulins can be claimed per account.
Frequency of Disbursement: The benefit can be reclaimed once every 3 years.

Eligibility
- The applicant should belong to a Scheduled Tribe.
- The applicant should be a farmer.
- The applicant should be located in tribal areas OR be a tribal cultivator residing outside tribal areas.
- The scheme excludes farmers from Dang district.

Registration Process:
Step 1: The applicant may visit and apply online at the I-Khedut Portal.
Step 2: Click on 'Login' from the top right-hand side, then click on "Beneficiary Registration" and select any one from the 'Farmer' or 'Institutional' or 'Except For the Farmer' as the Beneficiary Type.
Step 3: Enter the 'Company Name' and Address if you have selected 'Institutional' or 'Except For the Farmer' as the Beneficiary Type. And for all select the District, Taluka, and Village, choose 'what type of account holder you are?', enter your Account Number and Name, solve the Captcha, and click 'Save and Next'.
Step 4: Enter your Mobile Number and E-mail address, click 'Send OTP', enter the received OTP, create and confirm a Password, solve the Captcha, and click 'Submit'.
Login Process:
Step 1: The applicant may visit and apply online at the I-Khedut Portal.
Step 2: Click on 'Login' from the top right-hand side of the homepage. On the home page, click on ‘Schemes’ and then click on ‘Agricultural Schemes’.
Step 3: Now select the scheme, click on the ‘Apply’ button, and an application page will open.
Step 4: Click on the "Apply New" button and submit a new application.
Step 5: Click on the "Update Application" button to add corrections to the application.
Step 6: Once the application is done, confirm it.
Step 7: Take a printout of the confirmed application.
