This scheme aims to construct additional classrooms and laboratories in government educational institutions located in tribal-dominated areas of districts under the Tribal Sub-Plan and non-tribal sub-plan regions. Priority is given to upgraded upper primary/secondary schools and colleges. Laboratories are constructed in government educational institutions that have been approved for science faculties.
